The King of Pop is Dead.

June 26, 2009 at 11:47 am (Uncategorized)

Michael Jackson, possibly the greatest influence on the music industry, passed away yesterday. He collapsed of a cardiac arrest, and when the paramedics got him to the hospital, he was already dead. Let us remember him with what he gave us, with his remarkable music and dance.

AC/DC!!!!!!!!

May 25, 2009 at 5:38 pm (Uncategorized)

So, I was in Amherst, Massachusetts. I stopped by this comic book shop called Newbury Comics. They sell CDs, DVDs, comics, LPs, toys, etc. They have a ton of AC/DC stuff there! It’s like Angus Young took a collosol dump on the place! They have basically ALL of their albums, DVDs, even LPs!!! They had the really rare and underappreciated ones like Fly On The Wall, Blow Up Your Video, a used old copy of Ballbreaker, and ‘74 Jailbreak! Two of their albums which I never see in stores are there: The Razors Edge and Stiff Upper Lip. They even had the LP of The Razors Edge! My parents would only let me get 2 albums, so I chose Stiff Upper Lip and The Razors Edge.

The Razors Edge cover

My favorite songs on every single AC/DC album are:

High Voltage: TNT, Little Lover

Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap: Love At First Feel, Ride On, Squealer

Let There Be Rock: Let There Be Rock, Whole Lotta Rosie

Powerage: Rock N’ Roll Damnation, What’s Next To The Moon

Highway to Hell: Walk All Over You, Night Prowler

Back in Black: Hells Bells, Shoot To Thrill, What Do You Do For Money Honey, Let Me Put My Love Into You, Back in Black, You Shook Me All Night Long, Have A Drink On Me

For Those About To Rock We Salute You: For Those About To Rock (We Salute You), Snowballed, Spellbound

Flick Of The Switch: Rising Power, Flick Of The Switch, Nervous Shakedown, Landslide

‘74 Jailbreak: Jailbreak, Baby, Please Don’t Go

Fly On The Wall: Shake Your Foundations, Sink The Pink

Who Made Who: Who Made Who, D.T.

Blow Up Your Video: Heatseeker, That’s The Way I Wanna Rock N’ Roll

The Razors Edge: Thunderstruck, Fire Your Guns, Moneytalks, The Razors Edge, Are You Ready

Ballbreaker: Hard As A Rock, Ballbreaker

Stiff Upper Lip: Stiff Upper Lip, House of Jazz, Hold Me Back, Come And Get It

Black Ice: Anything Goes, Money Made

So, Yeah. I suggest listening to these.

I got 2 awesome CDs this weekend: Blizzard Of Ozz, and The Dark Side Of The Moon. I highly suggest them. I’m gonna blog more about TDSOTM later. My favorite songs on TDSOTM are Speak to Me, Time, Brain Damage, and Eclipse. My favorite songs on Blizzard Of Ozz are Crazy Train, Goodbye To Romance, Mr. Crowley, and the bonus track You Lookin’ At Me Lookin’ At You.

Oh yeah, TDSOTM was 10 bucks at Target, and Blizzard of Ozz was 7 bucks at WalMart.
